In 1-minute cycles, we produce pre-finished copper and aluminium full-surface absorbers, featuring either meander pipe coils or pipe banks. All standard sun selective coatings can be utilised. The CAD-designed absorbers, the CNC-controlled pipe bending facility and the fully automated laser welding unit all enable highly precise, cost-effective production sequences.

KBB’s laser welding technology, designed for the industrial production of large lots, assures an optimal welding to the absorber plate with uniform production quality. The full-surface absorbers manufactured at KBB with highly selective coatings provide top performance. They can be sized to 3.00 m2, according to customer specifications. Each absorber runs through an automatic compression strength and sealing test. We give special attention to secure packaging. In this way, the absorbers reach our customers with the same high level of quality they had when leaving the production line.
